Locate the Embed Code for Your Stream

Obtaining the embed code for your stream allows you to publish your content anywhere on your digital property.

Locate the Embed Code (v7)

Embed templates use our v7 embed, and generate a script tag (div code). If you wish to use a template from our older v5 embed, click here.

1. Go to your stream. Click on Menu > Setup > Templates at the top of the page to go to the Choose A Template page.
2. Click on the Embed tab, located at the top of your page. Scroll down the list of available embed templates, and click on embed template you wish to use.
3. Select the generated code in the right-rail of your page, and copy the embed code to your clipboard. 

 


Locate the iframe Code (Old Code)

The embed code generated use script tags (i.e., div code). To generate an iframe embed code, follow these steps:

  1. On the Choose A Template page, click on the Embed tab located at the top of your page.
  2. Scroll down the list of available embed templates, and click on the embed template you wish to use. A div code will be generated in the right-rail of your page.
  3. Click on the Old Code link to generate an iframe embed code. Highlight and copy theiframe code to your clipboard. 

 


Locate the Legacy Embed Code (V5)

ScribbleLive released a redesigned version of our embeds which are now the default embed template. Existing embed templates (that is, our V5 legacy embeds) are still available in your account. Follow these steps to locate your V5 embed:

1. On the Choose A Template page, click on the Legacy Embed tab located at the top of your page.
2. Scroll down the list of available legacy embed templates, and click on the embed template you wish to use.

Note: legacy embed templates only generate iframe embed codes. Highlight and copy the iframe code to your clipboard. 

 

 


Locate the Pinboard Template Embed Code

To embed your stream onto any page with a pinboard visualization, you will need to first create a pinboard template (link to “How to Create a Pinboard Template”). Follow these steps to generate an embed code using your pinboard template:

  1. Go to your stream. Click on MenuSetup > Templates at the top of the page to go to the Choose A Template page.
  2. Click on the Pinboard tab, located at the top of your page. Scroll down the list of available pinboard templates, and click on the pinboard template you wish to use.
  3. Select the generated code in the right-rail of your page, and copy the embed code to your clipboard. 

 


Locate the Timeline Template Embed Code

  1. Go to your stream. Click on MenuSetup > Templates at the top of the page to go to the Choose A Template page.
  2. Click on the Timeline tab, located at the top of your page. Scroll down the list of available timeline templates, and click on the template you wish to use.
  3. Select the generated code in the right-rail of your page, and copy the embed code to your clipboard.
