You now have the ability to pull replies from Twitter into an Engage stream. This feature is a great way to bring a Twitter conversation back to your digital property.
This is a great feature because it...
✔ Makes it easy to include your Twitter audience in your live stream
✔ Saves time so your team can focus on other aspects of your content
✔ Keeps audiences on your website
How it works:
→ In Twitter:
Copy the Tweet ID found in the URL of the Tweet. The Tweet ID is the numerical series found at the end of the URL.
→ In ScribbleLive Engage:
- Step 1 - On the Social Automation page of a stream (Menu > Automate > Social Networks), paste the Tweet ID into the Follow field.
Click "Add to Moderation Hub" and send the replies to the Moderation Hub in the Content Studio. If this box is unchecked, the replies will be published to the stream automatically.
- Step 2 - Select "Use Twitter Embeds" to ensure that the original post appears attached to the response.
What you'll see:
Each Twitter reply will appear in the stream as a separate post.
Keep in mind:
- Only responses that occur after this integration will appear in the stream. Older replies won't be pulled in.
- If the stream is closed, replies will no longer be pulled in. If you reopen the stream, new replies will be published again.
Changes coming soon!
Currently, the replies appear as individual posts. We're working on making the Tweets appear in a threaded post.
Stay tuned for updates!
