1. Be Original

Your brand's voice matters...especially if there are others covering the same event. Original content creates a unique and memorable experience for your viewers.

You can create original content in the Content Studio:

 Keep in mind...

✔ Simple formatting (paragraphs, bold, font style, etc) can make your content easy to follow

✔ Hyperlink to other pages to provide context or promote another page

✔ Images break up large blocks of text

✔ Quotes are a good way to highlight important messages

✔ Embed other original content into the editor

Tip!

Tick the "Enter to Publish" box to post quickly during live events.

2. Use Social

Enhance your content by integrating posts curated from social media. Search for posts in the Search Hub or automate this process.

Tip!

Give readers a unique perspective on a social post by bringing the post into the Rich Text Editor and adding your own commentary.

3. Live Viewers

There's a reason why we've called our platform "Live". Interaction with your viewers keeps them connected to your content and develops a rapport that's meaningful for your brand and business.

When liveblogging, you can engage with your audience in multiple ways, including the following:

Ask viewers to submit questions or images

  • Use your viewers' questions to guide your liveblog.

Publish a poll or quiz

  • Get insight into what your viewers care about.

Integrate forms

  • Use embed code from 3rd parties, such as Marketo forms or interactive graphics, to include other interactive content in your coverage.

4. Amplify on Social

Let your viewers know that you're covering an event by promoting the liveblog on your social networks, and by sending certain posts both to the stream and Twitter.
